Terms of Service

The agreement, on the shelf.

Last updated: 21 September 2026

1. Who is the "we" in these terms

“Supermarketing” is a service of ScootUp Studio, a design and technology firm based in Suez, Egypt. These terms govern any project you commission through supermarketing.scootupstudio.com. When you submit a quote request and accept our written proposal, you are agreeing to these terms.

2. How the shop works

Every service on the site is fixed scope — the tag on the card lists what you get, and that list is the contract. Fixed price, fixed timeline, no post-brief renegotiation. You can add multiple services to one quote; the total remains an itemised sum of the same tag prices.

Some services are marked as “enquire” instead of fixed price (larger builds, custom software). Those get a custom quote within 48 working hours — the same fixed-scope discipline applies once you accept it.

3. Revisions

Every fixed-scope product includes two rounds of revisions. Additional rounds are billed at our current hourly rate and quoted before we start. Feedback comes in a single consolidated message per round.

4. Timeline & delivery

The delivery window on each tag starts when we receive your project brief, brand assets, and any content we need to build with. If you delay providing those, the timeline shifts by the same number of working days. If we miss our own committed delivery window by more than 5 working days without a stated cause, you receive a 20% credit toward that project.

5. Payment

Fixed-scope items are paid in full on acceptance of the quote. Retainer items are billed at the start of each monthly cycle and can be cancelled at any time before the next cycle begins. Custom-quote projects are typically 50% on acceptance and 50% on delivery.

Accepted methods: bank transfer, Paymob (EGP for Egyptian clients), and Lemon Squeezy (USD/EUR/other for international clients). All prices exclude VAT where applicable.

6. Ownership & deliverables

Once you have paid in full, you own the deliverables outright — source files, editable design files, and the copyright to everything we produced for you. We retain the right to show the work in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to.

Third-party assets (stock imagery, fonts, plugins) are licensed under their own terms and remain the property of the licensor.

7. Cancellations & refunds

You may cancel a fixed-scope project before we start work for a full refund. Once work has begun, you receive a pro-rated refund based on the portion of work completed. Retainers can be cancelled at any time and are not refunded for the current month, only future months.

8. Confidentiality

Anything you share while working with us — briefs, files, credentials, strategy — stays confidential. We do not share it outside our team, and we sign additional NDAs on request. Same applies to our own working documents and pricing sheets on your side.

9. Liability

We do our work with care, but we cannot guarantee specific business outcomes (traffic, sales, rankings). Our maximum aggregate liability for any claim relating to a project is capped at the fees you paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Suez.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version. Any project already in flight is governed by the terms in force on the day you accepted its quote.
